Customer Requirement: Development of post-harvest food preservation packaging, based on ethylene absorption.

• Development of polymer coating with high ethylene permeability

• FDA Regulations

• Incorporation of an ethylene absorbant within the coating

 

Process:

• Development of a suitable polymeric matrix

 

Solution: TecSolut’s packages have shown very good ethylene reduction. The solution to be commercialized is still in development.
